~Our next pull~ Sept 27, 2008 Pull starts: 11:00 Keller, TX ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bill Halter Memorial Pull 8-9-08 Well, once again the Blue Ridge track did not disappoint us and was one of the toughest to read but a power track. From what I can remember, we only had a tiny bit of carnage from the biting track....Skeet Degner broke an axle in his big stock tractor and we had a couple very HOT clutches! I think it was one of the best night pulls we have had. We had tons of light thanks to Steve McCarley and Kenny Pierce. Randall, thanks for a wonderful track. I am always afraid of leaving people off to thank for a pull but here is who I know of: Steve and Tyler McCarley, Kenny Pierce, Randall and Sara Moody.............. For those that don't know or have not been to Blue Ridge, the track is literally in Randalls back yard!! Hope everyone had a great time! I want to thank all of the club members, it seems everyone is pitching in and we are getting things set up and tore down pretty quick. Keep up the good work EVERYONE!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Texas All Star BBQ Shootout 7-26-08
Thank you Eddie Sulak, West Nights of Columbus, and the participants for
another great pull in West! I also want to thank the girls of the scoring
trailer......we are very lucky to have those two up there. Next pull,
please make it a point to thank Stephanie and Cathie for everything they
do! The track turned out to be pretty good! I believe we had 37 hooks.
Let me just say that we must really love pulling to be out in 105 degree
temperatures! We are over half over for the year, if you are behind in
points you better start picking up the pace. There were a couple upsets in
4 cylinder and Outlaw classes. Kenny Pierce pulled off a win in the 4
cylinder class and John Aufdenkamp turned up the heat by adding his third
motor on his hot rod. Great pull everyone and cant wait for the night pull
in Blue Ridge. Remember, we could use some financial help if possible on
this one. Email me if anyone can help out with finances

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hill Country Antique Tractor and Engine Club 6-14-08 The LSGTPA would like to thank The Hill Country Antique Tractor and Engine Club for hosting our pull and all the work that went along with this event. They are a great group and we appreciate there willingness to provide whatever we needed for the pull. It was a pleasure to pull with them and we look forward to returning at a later date. We had a good turnout considering the distance that most pullers had to travel. It was also nice to see some pullers attend that we hadn't seen yet this year. The weather was beautiful and the competition was especially good in the V8 class where after the Greenville pull there was a three way tie for first place in points. The top four contenders in the stock class were also present where there is a three points difference between the tractors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LSGTPA Members
